So after the horrid weeks of soup and jello I finally decided to try something more solid....GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH.....NOT a good idea. I have come to find there are several foods I simply cant eat. Bread, fruit and veggies with a skin or membrane on them such as oranges and grapes. the skin gets "balled up" and "stuck" for lack of a better way to describe it. Then I have to usually drink a TON of water to get the ball shoved down this tiny hole it is stuck in. WOW talk about P-A-I-N..... I think it is almost comparable to having chest pains in a heart attack. So back to salads and soups I went. there are a few meats I can eat but mostly fillet minion and very tender chicken and pork. im not a huge fish eater however I am learning to eat it.
I lost roughly 38 lbs the first two months. I found that I really had to stay on top of my band fills in order to lose the weight. Its not as easy and it seems but much easier then doing it the old fashioned way that obviously never worked for me.
